The Academic Practice Hub

The Academic Practice Hub brings together people, information and resources to enhance learning, teaching, assessment and related research in the University and in the wider HE community.

The team:

Our aims are to:

• Lead and support enhancement in learning, teaching and assessment
• Meet the the professional development needs of staff engaged in teaching and/or supporting learning in HE

What we do:

Co-ordinate enhancement strategies for learning, teaching and assessment

Provide continuing professional development opportunities for academic staff

Run the Regent’s Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education

Co-ordinate the REAP (Regent's Effective Academic Practice) CPD Scheme

Provide mentoring to staff who teach and/or support learning

Who we work with:

• Both individuals and teams in identifying development needs
• Human Resources, especially Learning and Development
• Learning Technology Team (and Learning Resources more generally)
• Senate and Faculty/Institute Learning and Teaching Committees
• Staff in leadership positions and those who are not
• External agencies such as the HEA
