Welcome to Regent's University London

Students who choose to study here can be sure that they will receive an education that develops them as individuals. Regent's alumni are confident, cosmopolitan and connected. They are independent thinkers, prepared to make their mark in a globalised world. The University is a hive for innovative thinkers – students who want to learn in a supportive, personal environment and who will enter the world of work as leaders and entrepreneurs who think and operate internationally.

Independent

One of Regent’s particular strengths is its independent, not-for-profit status. As a charity, our surplus income is re-invested in the student experience, rather than being paid as dividends to shareholders.

All our students pay the same fees, regardless of nationality. Our fees reflect our commitment to the highest level of service and education, giving us the freedom and flexibility to focus on ensuring that the standard of teaching, the quality of the environment and the student experience are all outstanding.

Inter-connected

Our location offers an excellent environment for study, while the very best of what London has to offer is on our doorstep. At our central London campus in royal Regent's Park and Marylebone, the immediate environment and the city beyond provide a rich extension of the classroom.

Regent’s is small and intimate enough to feel like a 'home away from home'. With just under 5,000 students on campus, staff and students get to know each other by name, and students benefit from plenty of one-to-one contact with their tutors.

All our staff are dedicated to ensuring that our students enjoy their time at Regent's and reach the ambitious goals that they have set themselves. Most of the teaching at Regent’s takes place in small groups with high contact hours. So our students build a powerful relationship with their tutors. If you come and visit our campus, you’ll soon detect the supportive, personal ambience.

International

The University is a meeting place for people from across the globe. We are proud to have students representing more than 140 nationalities on campus. We also welcome many visiting faculty and students from around the world: at any given time, a significant proportion of our campus community is typically made up of students from our prestigious, global partner institutions.

This highly cosmopolitan community provides a cultural richness without boundaries that enables the exchange of perspectives, shares experiences and promotes dialogue. We also have partner institutions around the world from Europe to Asia, from Africa to Australia and the Americas to the Middle East, and many of our students spend time at these locations as part of their studies.

Intercultural exchange and international languages are a crucial part of education at Regent’s. Our students are citizens of the world. Many of them spend a period of their studies abroad, gaining experience of other cultures, languages and work practices. They are encouraged to take classes in any of nine economically important languages, and receive extensive support and teaching if English is not their first language.

Industry-focused

When they leave us, our graduates are able to perform confidently anywhere in the world. We actively encourage all students to undertake internships and work experience while they are here, and our careers advisers are on hand to advise and support them so they can secure their career goals.

Our graduates go on to build successful international careers in a range of industries, as well as becoming entrepreneurs, starting their own companies, or returning to ensure the continuing success of family businesses. A higher-than-average number of our graduates move into graduate-level jobs, with starting salaries that compare very favourably with other UK universities. We are very proud that many of them return to the University to share their experiences and offer continuing support to current students.

With more than 16,000 alumni in 155 countries, Regent’s graduates remain members of our community, wherever they may be in the world. Our Alumni Association meetings are known as Regent’s Clubs, and this is no accident. Attending Regent’s means you become a member of a group of like-minded individuals, and those links last a lifetime.

I hope that you will enjoy exploring our website, to find out about all that the University can offer you, and look forward to welcoming you to the Regent’s community soon.
