Regent's
welcomes new students

The University is looking forward to welcoming up to 1,000 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from 140 countries, over the next two weeks, as our September Induction programme gets underway.

Over the summer, our beautiful historic buildings have been given a decorative facelift and new teaching rooms added; our team of gardeners have spruced up the idyllic grounds; our catering team have cooked up some new culinary treats and we’ve been working with the Student Union to plan a series of exclusive events.

Freshers' & Refreshers' Fairs

This week, Undergraduate (UG) students can take part in Challenge 100 – an action-packed programme of ice-breaker activities designed to help students make friends.

The fantastic Freshers’ Fair is filled with competitions, events, delicious food stalls from Yo Sushi, Nandos and Red Bull refreshments, as well as Student Union societies, clubs and sports to join, including our very own Regent’s polo team. There’s also a Freshers’ Party – and an After Party both organised by the SU at a stylish London location.

Our Postgraduate (PG) Refreshers’ Fair is a festival of student life at Regent’s with opportunities to pick up essential information, try something new and sign up for societies, clubs and volunteering opportunities. There will be a prize draw for those who visit every stall and don’t miss the selection of gourmet foods including our own home-made prosecco flavoured ice cream.

Party time!

UG and PG students are both invited to dress to impress at the Grand Autumn Welcome Party – the University’s biggest and most dazzling event of the year. For those who want to party into the night, the Student Union (SU) is hosting a Boat Party on the Thames River. You can check out the SU list of events here

So whether you are a new or returning student, we hope you enjoy your first few weeks at Regent’s and look forward to meeting you in person. Welcome to the Regent’s family!

There is still time to apply to study at Regent’s on programmes starting September 2016 or January 2017. Find out more here.
