At Regent's University London we encourage all our students to lead physically active lifestyles. We aim to develop a culture that supports healthy lifestyles by providing sporting and fitness opportunities for all our students. Whether you are an elite performer or a beginner who is looking to get involved in a sport for the first time, we are committed to providing accessible, affordable and regular health and fitness sessions to our students.
Our students have the opportunity to join any of our competitive sport teams. Regent’s sports teams compete in the London Universities Sports League (LUSL). This league provides the perfect opportunity for our students to take part in quality sport regularly. Our teams are placed in the divisions appropriate to their ability level.
At Regent’s we currently have four established sports teams; Men’s Basketball, Men’s Football, Mixed Volleyball and Polo. You can view our sports club profiles on our Student Union website. If we do not play your sport, let us know and we will help you create a team!
In our aim to develop a culture that provides sporting opportunities for all our students. We are committed to providing recreational sporting opportunities where it is not provided through one of our Club Sports. Recreational sessions will take place in the form of taster sessions, establishing links with community sports clubs and opportunities to play on campus.
Students and staff can request to book Reid Hall’s multi surface sports area to play tennis, 5 a side football, basketball and netball. Equipment is available at Reid reception. To book the sports facility, contact Reid reception, visit Acland A007 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Gym provision for students and staff is provided by Regent’s Place Health Club, which is only a short walk 10 minute from the Park Campus. Regent’s Place Health Club is an external provider who we work in a partnership with, to offer our students substantial discounts on fitness memberships in London. Members will be able to take advantage of their substantial range of free weights, resistance machines and cardiovascular facilities. Plus, personal training instructors and wide range of studio classes such as spinning, pilates and high-energy strength and conditioning sessions.

Spring fitness classes on our Park Campus are delivered by qualified instructors from Regent’s Place Health Club. This term we have three different classes: HIIT, Zumba and Yogalates. All the sessions take place in Darwin Studio 1 and are an hour long and run for six sessions throughout February and March.
